More work and money than it's worth. Started over on platform that's cheaper to build and lighter off the start. Didn't care to gut my car.

Well it's been fun

Well about 2 weeks ago I parted out my 5th gen.
I mainly do 1/4 racing and honestly the 5th gen just doesn't cut it. Just to heavy.
Maybe I'll build an autocross car with the shell one day but...

The diff isn't held in by much. 6 bolts. Pull it out and put it on a bench.

Kinda like 1000hp is meh at best anymore.

Twin turbo built LQ9 ls3 heads Holley sniper intake custom air to air intercooler. 25lb of boost full E85

High intake temps..

So I've upgraded from 60mm turbos to 76mm turbos. Car keeps having high intake temps even on low boost( 11psi) intake temps are around 125* at the end of the pass.
Car is on E85 and spraying twin...

Anyone running Motorkote? Running a 1000+ hp twin turbo setup I'm always for running something that will add protection to the engine and trans.
This stuff just snake oil or will I get better...
