I'm in Ohio and all of the local dealers are openly advertising 1ss 1LE with PDR at $41k. I've seen @7 or 8 on dealer lots in the last couple of weeks.

Drilled rotors will crack sooner or later. Small cracks radiating from the drilled holes are actually ok but what you really want to watch for are cracks that go out to the edge of the rotor.

Try a different tire like Michelin PSS and see if you get longer life. That will save $ but don't buy a cheap tire.

No, I'm also on a Chumpcar team so I would only track it a few weekends a year. That's why it is appealing to me, seems like a 1LE would be a good street/limited track car. Plus I love a V8 !
