Park car - engage brake - put in neutral = Remote...

Park car - engage brake - put in neutral = Remote Start OK

Park car - engage brake - leave in gear = Remote Start doesn't work

I get your point, but they can add safety features that override...

Why? I don't get why this feature can't be added. Other cars have it. Keep the car in Manual, remote start the car. Get in. touch anything but the break and the car shuts off.
