rebuild using copart

If there is a number of items that needs to be replaced in order to convert from a v6 to v8 why not just get a completely totaled car from copart and swap everything into your V6 Camaro. At least you...

Here is an idea

I would figure get a wrecked SS or ZL1 from copart.com and swap components from the wrecked Camaro to your V6 Camaro. The catch is the highest bid is going for at least 7 grand.

Take the risk.

I would figure no one have tried it. I would figure swap the engine only and mate it to the V6's original transmission, you will have to replace the drive shaft also. This is a experimental engine...

Rebuild a wrecked 5th gen

The problem is parts. You have to start with a series of parts at the same time. I would figure you have to get a complete engine, transmission, rear axle, driveshaft, and radiator all at once, then...

Why not use a wrecked Camaro?

I checked copart.com and found several wrecked 5th Gen Camaro SS and at least a ZL1. Could you pull all the parts you need from the wrecked Camaro and put them in a used 2010 Camaro V6?

There are better alternatives

The idea of the turbo four is at during cruising speed of 70 to 80 the turbo is not used and you can get 35 to 40 mpg. You can get the same results if you had a 6cyl 320hp with cylinder...

Here is my best guess and only a guess

V6 3.8: all 1LS, 2LS, 1LT, 2LT
V6 3.0 twin turbo: RS only
V8 LT1: 1SS and 2SS
Z/28 and ZL1 will not be made 1 or 2 years after initial 6th gen release depending they plan to recycle the LS7 or LS9...

I would not know. I drive the v6 version and all I need is 87 octane. I found out two websites that have a module that bypasses the fuel injectors and allow any car to run on E85. They are: ...

Depends on cost

I would go for 20." You would have to think of long term cost. When you have to replace the rubber on the 20" is a lot cheaper than tires for a 22" rim.

wrong steering wheel

The current steering wheel is not bad. Why can't just fix the current one instead of using one from a Cruze. All they need to do is modify the horizonal bars that hold the wheel side to side. Either...
