Custom Dyno tuning is the way to go, I went the route of tuning myself and it has been quite fun, but there really is no comparison between a custom tune and handheld tune.

Yes that's the first thing I do to any car I tune is refine the shift points/shift pressures, I don't know about the shift denied settings, there is tables for the sport mode and tap up/tap down...

I cut out my cats and resonators, thank you Florida for no emissions testing, and added a magnaflow resonated xpipe to my MRT V2's. Get a lot of complements on the sound and I love it.
