Checkout this ZL1 with 58k miles. I wonder what they were doing to get this many miles? Somebody got their fun out of the vehicle for sure.

There gonna have to adjust their price, that engines seen a 1/4 of it's life.

BlaqWhole 07-05-2017 11:51 PM

It isn't THAT bad...I mean, if nobody drives it at all for the next 6 years...

mdmoore23 07-06-2017 12:03 AM

I really would like to know the story behind that one.

BluinSC 07-06-2017 12:21 AM

Probably an early build employee's car.

I'd snatch it up.

maraging 07-06-2017 12:33 AM

That is amazing.

BreedsAS 07-06-2017 01:20 AM

That is ridiculous. What was it used for? Mail delivery during the week, then pizza delivery and/or Uber on the weekends?
How much one pays for a car is all about perception. What is it worth to whoever buys its?
With that mileage in just a year, I would not even pay $40k for it. Expecially because Chevy will soon be selling 2017s for probably about the mid 50s within the next 3 months. :sorry:

That's approx 170 miles per day, every day for 12 months of use.

Its either a Rental or Regional Demo car

Either way its way over priced, (unless they drop a new crate engine in it).

Here is the Carfax. Definitely a GM beater car.

If that's indeed an A10, which it appears to be, then it was likely a GM marketing or captured test fleet car. The VIN is before any of the known first delivered cars.

GearheadSS 07-06-2017 09:24 AM

Yep, it's an early A10 GM company car. Probably logged those miles to test the trans.

Mr. Meh 07-06-2017 09:28 AM

I test drove a 2015 Z06 w/ Z07 on it that had something like 60k miles already on the clock back in late 2015.. The VIN was a curious one as it had a code that indicated it was almost pre-release coded (it was grey with all options for that year as well). I'm guessing it was the press / pep car that was going around.. Seat side was coming off, the door gasket was a mess, the roof panel wasn't seating properly.. The Cup2s were all point bald to the point of looking like drag slicks.

They still wanted like 60k for the car.. /had to take a hard pass.. It was a fun test drive though.

I saw that car also while searching around. No way I would spend that kinda money on a car out of warranty or dang close to it.

I agree. Their price is way to high. The Bumper to Bumper Warranty is done and the powertrain warranty is also almost over.
