Rattle after headers install

I had a rattle after installing my long tubes. In my case, when I popped the hood and looked down into the passenger side engine bay, one of the bolts that fastens the aluminum heat shield was knocking against the header. So just cut off the tip of the bolt to make more room. At least that was what caused my rattle.

I would guess the heat shield. Also re-tighten all connecting points as well.

The cats' bolts that came with my kit were not tight enough at their tightest (the header outlet was too narrow), causing a rattle. In the end, I got it welded to get rid of the noise. Texas Speed fitment was pretty poor. The headers lined up well with the heads, but the cats rattled, x-pipe was angled wrong and was not following the tunnel inlet. I'd only recommend their headers for future customers, if that.
