Warpig goes 10.0s at NMCA ON 20S!
In St louis this weekend at NMCA my little pig went 10.08 on stock size FRONT AND BACK WHEEls AND TIRES..
I only have my phone right now but there are vids and slip pics to make it official. Which Im pretty sure makes it the fastest zl1 in the world on stock size tires.. Kinda like being the tallest midget but im still stoked.. had a few issues with it I was fighting and it was snapping and popping all day Saturday. Still went 10.08. AND won true street. Today I figured out what was wrong and blew the tires off (rain all morning then sun blazing killed the track ) @ the car trapped its highest ever, 138 on a terrible pass. It went 6.41 in the 8th Saturday. Once the top and bottom end come together I will be looking for the stock ci record.... no suspension or drag pack needed. Stock ci, stock blower on #10s , nitrous express plate kit.. |
Wow. That's a great ET. Congrats!

Iv kinda discovered the cars prefer small amounts of nitrous over driven to the moon blowers .Stock blowers.. I pullied it down and started small. It went 10.28 a couple weeks ago on a 48 jet (75hp).. that's when I knew I was onto something...

No dry.. I prefer to get the motor tuneup perfect and leave it alone.. simple plate kit on a button... the minimal amount of fuel going through the blower is harmless. I use a squash duel pump. Feed off of the rail. Nothing complicated.. the tough part is figuring out the jetting forv fuel. Jet charts are set up for 55psi. Under boost mine climbs to almost 70.. judt have to chip away at it slowly eith the wideband in it until its happy and you feel safe with the tuneup.
Nothing wrong with dry though.. a plate is just easier to tune. If I were sticking with the Stock blower i would do a set of rails in the lid.. best safest way.. |
SWEET LORD.....that's hauling ass!!
