$27,000 for a 45th. SS, W/2804 Miles ?

That's what a Bank said my car was worth. No mods. Does this sound right?

Squillo 12-10-2013 05:46 PM

Why don't you drive it?

crateish 12-10-2013 05:50 PM

45ths are not collector's items. They are special paint jobs.

After two years, most cars have lost 25% or more of their value, no matter how little you have drove it.

That seems kind of low by at least 2-3 grand. I just bought a 2010 2SS with 29k for 26,000. Cars in this area with those miles were 28-30k.

my 2012 1ss is worth $29k with 5k miles on it

Bowtie-Bri 12-10-2013 06:11 PM

Could that be the loan value? You know if your car was on a lot with those miles on it would sell for alot more than that.

True, not collectors items...but I like to think of it as more than just a special paint job.

Trade-in value that's what it's worth. Sale value is probably about $30k-$33k depending on the dealer.

wocampb 12-10-2013 06:44 PM

That seems low. I traded my 45th V6 in last month and got $23,500 from my dealer in trade.

And that they will be selling for $27k+ guaranteed.

Oh I know they will but most likely it will go to auction. It was traded in at a dealer that is very small and sells very few Camaros.

its only worth what someone will pay for it

retail v wholesale. You will get that in trade but will pay at 1-2k more to buy one.
