Did i just get trolled by a cop?
 

So the other night my friend and I were on our way to get something to eat, and stopped at a red light. About 4 seconds later a cop pulled up next to us. They were a bit ahead of us though. To be funny I told her I could so take them, and we were just having a little laugh about it. While that was happening I think the cop was looking out his side mirror at us laughing and figured what we were talking about. The light turned green and all of a sudden the cop takes off, with me way behind him with a dumbfound look on my face knowing that I couldn't do anything about it. My friend then started busting out laughing. :sm0:

I figured though he did not turn on his siren. Though it was still funny to us it that moment.

I think he was just messing with you......and he and his buddies are sitting around the office doing one of these!!

The police will not turn on their sirens or lights if responding to an alarm where a suspect could hear or see the police coming. That would just allow the suspect to possible evade the police.

Very unlikely. That just doesn't make sense.

Most likely he was responding to a call. Lights and sirens aren't always used. Although it could be he was joking with you, but they really aren't supposed to do that kind of stuff.
