ATS is 3400lb car, could we hope for the camaro to come in at about the same weight?

I would expect the 4 cylinder camaro to come in around 3400, but the v8 models will be considerably more, probably around 3700 for a loaded ss

3.6 AWD ATS is pretty fat.

Cadillac's will also have more premium features, sound deadening and so forth which add to the weight.
