But hey, same conversation in two places, why not! Lets do it!

The exhaust manifolds looked pretty terrible so expect bigger than normal gains if you update your LT1 Camaro to aftermarket long tube headers and freer flowing exhausts.
I had thought the new Camaro has tri-y headers, not manifolds... I still expect gains to be had from longer tube headers, but I was under the impression that the headers on the Camaro offered better performance than manifolds like in the 5th gen.

Nice! Proof for the "other" forum that didn't believe the weights.

joemosfet 11-10-2015 04:20 PM

Eh, people will just say its a "ringer" or something silly like that. Even when Tr6 gets his weighed, somebody will say he was delivered a "ringer" I'm sure.

Don't worry, within the next 24 hours we'll have another 5 reposts of this news, and in about 2 weeks another spat of them.

I didn't see any topic on this and didn't read all the post to see it.:happy0180:

Good question!....Classic dyno "results", each pull is different....Maybe the other one they felt was more accurate/dialed in...???dunno...Maybe ADM will chime in....

The early ones weigh less and as months go on they'll put on about 100 pounds per trim.

How heavy is the dual exhaust vs the regular?

It's possible the numbers are not corrected, the part thats shows that is blocked off. Also, differnt dyno, different day. This one seems a tad high to me as the other runs have been 399, 400 and 405 that I've seen.

Curious, anybody know if these are the same cars?

Won't happen this time...but that's exactly what happened with the 5th Gen.

Just not 100 lbs
