Annoying Ads Here - How to block
Is anyone else seeing the millions of ads here? My AdBlock seems helpless against them. Ideas?

I use Ublock Origin. I don't see any of them.
It does prevent some pages (not here) from working properly. If you have any issues with web sites not loading properly, you can just click the button on the toolbar to disable it for that website, and then it'll reload the page. |
I use Adblock and NextDNS (https://nextdns.io/)

I use AdBlock on Chrome and I don't see any Ads... This is on a PC. I don't use the forums on my phone... I have not found a good way as the ads are way to overwhelming on my Android phone.

Another vote for ublock origin. It's the best desktop adblocker for Chrome that I've found. And it's highly customizable per site so you don't miss things you want to see
On mobile, Tapatalk is a good option |
No ads with Brave browser.

Hi all,
My question is this: Is the forum owner/owners allowing the ads to appear? Is it space that was sold for profit? JJ |

I too was wondering about all the ads. It's not just on this website, it's happening all over, very strange. Just started popping up about a week or so

I use uBLock Origin with Firefox in Windows 11, Linux Mint, and on my Android phone. I never see any ads. I won't use the youtube app on my TV because I'm so used to not see ads on my PCs and phone. I'm going to look into side loading Firefox and uBlock Origin on the TV to make youtube tolerable there as well.

The ads have gotten way worse over time. At first it was the forum sponsor ads up top, the little banner. Then a few years back an entire ad page you have to click out of started right when you click forums. Now there are ads in between every other post.
