Camaro Z28 with LT5 Power Sounds Better Than Ever
This Torque News article sounds about right to me...

GM has already said the Camaro won’t exceed the Hellcat in power.

Gm fans lol. I owned 2 3rd gen Z28 and 1 5th gen Z/28. I don't want nothing outside of a NA engine in a Z/28 or Z28 ever lol. Small cube or large cube as long as it's NA. Me personal I'll take small cube like COPO 302 small cube. But that's just me

Honestly, I just don't see a Z/28 happening at all... |
Since everyone takes Al’s quotes from conversations as gospel.....I’ve seen him on video saying the z28 will ALWAYS be naturally aspirated.
Plus this article also misses by comparing a purpose built track Camaro to a Hellcat, while ignoring other Camaro offerings that are faster down a drag strip. |
I think if it happens it will be a 1/4 monster and not track. 19 is the 50th anniversary of the ZL1, the most powerful Camaro produced at the time.

Additionally, Patrick has had more seat time in high end performance vehicles than most on this site. His comments are based more in true application than just speculation. |

the next Gen Chevy engines are going into production soon and one is a turbo V8 named the LT7. I have proof of that statement, but I have no idea what cars the engine will be in ;)

Yup. I wasn’t gonna post it just for the sake of the source, but that’s the evidence. The Corvette Forum has been going nuts lately.

Cadillac....4.2l twin turbo as well
|
Guarantee that engine is for the mid engine C8 coming.
