Great on the mechanical specs but the styling changes seem to clash with the base car. Maybe it's the wheels. They just seem out of place.
Oh my...
Beautiful car, terrible wheels, the MSRP is going to massive. Mildly concerned about a LT1 stroked out to 427..at that displacement the piston is going to be damned close to coming out of the cylinder. Too bad they didn't make the front bowtie blue. |
Oh they're reaaaaally confident of that "hand built" LT1 based 427...

I like the hood
Yeah, it's like a less aggressive version of the COPO hood
These are the guy's (Ed Hamburg) from the original SLP Firehawks and Camaro SS's from the 4th gen days that became an OEM supplier up fitter for GM.
Look is too old school for me (i.e. Starsky and Hutch stripe, wheels).
I'm not a fan of the wheel and tire setup on modern muscle but I do like them in general, but not feeling it here.
Interesting...

Wish they would of squeezed 8 more Horses out of it to have bragging rights over the hellcat

I believe it is Katech that is offering the n.a. 427 LTI 700hp engine,so it should be pretty reliable for the I think 25 grand or so they ere asking.
This is the first 6th Gen that I have seen that made me think that I would want one. Everything this company puts out looks great IMO. That hood and those wheels could really make me consider getting a 6th.

And this is what a used version is selling for on Autotrader in case anyone was curious...no thanks
