My yucky front license plates are on :-p

I am one of the most anti-front license plate car guys on the planet. However, because I live in a state which requires them so what are my non-drill options?

I drove around for two years without a front plate and finally got pulled over and given a verbal warning. There was no way I was going to drill holes in my bumper so I got the JacFab front plate bracket. No holes to drill and it positions the plate really low. That said, your workmanship looks clean:thumbsup:

This bumper cover is damaged and getting replaced anyway so I didn't mind drilling the holes for the plates just to see if they look good without the bracket, which I don't like the look of at all.

On the new bumper cover I will use a drill-free bracket system like the Jac-Fab.

Get the front plate bracket like mine, bolts up to the factory bolts underneath and no drilling required.

I'll pay every single ticket they wanna give me! I will NOT screw into my car either.

I'm having my car drop shipped to a local dealer near me(order mine in VA from my uncle in WA state) and I'm going to face to face them at least twice prior to delivery and make SURE they do NOT put that f*ckin plate on my car! I will burn it down if'n they do :mad0260:

I read this about 2 years ago and finally did it. Bent the plate Removed the front bumper epoxied 8 rare earth magnets (as strong as you can get) to the back side of the bumper then put the bumper back on. Next put tape on 8 more and let them line up and stick to the ones just installed . (tape between the magnet and the bumper) then epoxy on the magnet then bent the plate and press it against the epoxied magnets and tape in place. allow the epoxy to harden. leave the tape on the magnets so it dosen't mar the paint. Now its removable for shows.

I have the same one and love it for the fact of no drilling and took like 2 minutes to install. Only 2 pre existing bolts. Hats off to JacFab :headbang:

If I get pulled over for no front license plates, I will go for the JacFab so I can occasionally remove it and have no ugly holes in the front bumper cover. (At 5,258 miles in almost 3 years my chances of getting pulled over are pretty slim I would imagin ;))
