Interesting Comments
Had some interesting interactions with random people over the last few days.
Yesterday, I was pulling out of a parking lot and had to stop to let a couple of guys cross the street to the parking lot from the pub across the way. Random drunk guy #1 says "Hey, nice machine. Real sharp!" Random drunk guy #2 says "I bet it's fast! Be careful man." I said, "Thanks, guys." and went on my way. Today, as I was washing the car in front of my Mom's house (alas, my condo complex does not have an outside faucet nor do they condone washing your car in the parking lot :( ) I had an old timer in a Jaguar stop beside me and say "I really like your car. Looks great!" Again, I said "Thanks!" Finally, tonight as I was driving home, I had a couple of guys in a pick-up truck pull-up beside and they start yelling "Rev it! Rev it!" I just nodded and smiled and went on my way. No revving involved. Gas is too expensive :) Just thought I'd share. |
nice comments man. my favorite comment was more of a gesture.
an older gentleman in a brand new turbo 911 Porsche gave me (a v6 camaro) a thumbs up while passing me... i felt pretty damn good haha |
Lol great comments.
We had one today in Pidgeon Forge. We had the top down when a guy in a Toyota Tundra pulled up beside us at a stoplight and said," Hey, would you like to trade even for a good pickup?" I said, "Maybe, you know anybody that has one?" then I drove off. |

A guy at work (as I drove through the parking garage) moaned real loud and made a gesture of um... let's call it "spanking the monkey" at my car as I rolled by. Somewhat cool, somewhat funny, a whole lot nasty. Still... |

Funny/weird one I had. I pulled up in my gas station where I fuel up, and there was this guy fueling up his truck, I saw him looking at me as I rumbled up with the big cam and the Corsa exhaust, put her in park and sat idling for a brier minute, shut her off and got out. Hi said to me, "man that thing sounds really awesome and nasty, nice car"! I said thanks man, appreciate that. I started to walk away and I heard him say, "but I just gotta say, you are not who I thought was going to get out of that beast", I'm 65, I asked him who did you expect to get out? He said a really much younger person.. I just said, nope, thanks and walked away...
