Recommendations please.... Square Setup

Stock 2013 SS.

Found some wheels I like, only come 10" wide. Can get either a 35 or 23 offset.

Want to go with a square, rotatable setup.

Will 275 40 20s work all the way around?

Asking because the guy on the TireRack site says the most they recommend on the front is a 265.

Thanks for all of your help.

I would recommend a 20x10 square setup with +35 offset which is what I run. 275/40/20s will fit perfect.

Thanks! What wheels are those on your car?

I have run 275/40/20 on 20x9 +27mm with the Style 41 (ZL1/1LE) Factory Reproductions replicas. I now have 285/35/20's on there. It's a really good setup IMO. The 285 is borderline too wide for that rim - I got a deal I couldn't pass up and figured I'd try it. I've found no ill effects thus far.

The square setup for a stock SS suspension is a great improvement. In factory staggered trim the car has a significant amount of understeer. Going to a square setup brings the car much closer to a neutral balance and makes the car much more enjoyable in the twisties.

20X10 35ET WIT A 275/40 WORKS PERFECT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO MODS REQUIRED/

Keep in mind tirerack is extremely conservative and the team focuses on what a computer tells them, nothing like a full hands on experience from vendors that actually see and touch these cars in person on a daily.

Talk to PK auto design they will get you straight/:thumbup:

I run 285/35/20 all the way around on a 10" wide rim.

If you go with a 10" wide wheel you could run a 285/35 or a 295/30. The 1le/ZL1 run a 285/35 on a 10" wheel up front.
