I would prob keep my 5th gen and get a 6th gen ss. Start my collection haha.

An under 30,000 asking price for a base SS, which is about half of what they will probably want for one.

it all depends. if the 6th gen takes it's styling from the 2nd gen, and it still has a v-8, i would consider it. i'm partial to the 2nd gen, my first car back when i was in high school was a 76 camaro!

Tyler360 04-13-2013 01:34 PM

If they retain the retro styling and it looks decent, then maybe. But I feel that they wont. I love what I have.

I would probably get one if i like the looks, has the power, and they are successful in dumping 300-400lbs.

Hell, use black steel wheels for all i care lol.

so you want a street legal COPO?

So do I

That car should be called the ZL1 but im done caring about what Chevy does with the different trim names

I wouldnt trade in mines for no smaller camaro because that's one of the things that stands out about it because you can have the best of both world's almost a full size sedan but in a two door form wont see anything like it again to many typical coupes a small two door mustang, 350z, 645bmw, many Moore so this 5th Gen is more rare than ppl realize until later when every car is smaller then a bug so the camaro seems like a car special made by a rich Guy that wanted a the best of both world's not look like everybody. Else a typical to door small compact camaros will be looking like the size of the smart car smart car soon and weight if I'm really that worried about weight I would take stuff out and if I'm really worried about the speed I'll just spend moneyand make it fast your going to spend more than that on a6th Gen I don't want my camaro the size of a smart car sorry or 350z or mustang there's. Another Chevy for that the Corvette

Q'smuscle 04-24-2013 12:23 AM

And the style of the 5th Gen camaro how can you get it any better nope sorry these are big muscle cars

Like the front end on the 6th. But the rear end was perfect on the 5 why change

I would trade mine in IF the 6th gen had 500HP OR a Z/28 LS7 6th gen for $45k which neither one will happen. So ill keep mine. Buy a 1SS 5th gen for as cheap as I can and MAKE it weigh 3500lbs tops with 500HP minimum.

I've also thought about buying a mustang and installing an LS7 with a 6spd using their rear axle. I know this could be done, and I'd do it myself not to mention stripping out a 3500lb mustang I'd get it down to 3200lbs.
