Camaro owner manual ... no cover
Hi All,
I wanted to check whether Chevy is so cheap or whether it's only my dealer. When I picked up my car the dealer handed me over the owner manual in an envelope. I kind of was shocked and asked whether they are not handing out any owner manual covers (that's what I am used to when getting a new car). I felt the response was kind of some BS ... What is your experience? Thx |
Not your dealer's fault.
I used my 4th gen cover. |
I got a ziploc with mine in. That's an upgrade from an envelope as it is waterproof :-)

Haha, mine was in a plastic bag.

Yeah, I found some old posts about this ...
May be the plastic bags 2016 are more advanced than the one from 2010. I saw that most people get the transparent plastic bags. Anyone got a tinted one? |
Was thinking of getting my bag tinted but not sure what % to go with :-)

Mine too came in an envelope, along with the second FOB.

My dealer provided at least a plastic type fold over pouch with the dealership's name and info printed on it...also had card slips on the inside with relevent cards inserted (service/seller/financing)
|
Becky gave me a nylon pouch with all the manuals and a small pouch inside with the key for the wheel locks(dealer installed @ no cost)

Yeah for all the Camaro hype from GM on loyal Camaro owners they really blew this one. I ended up going on EBay and bought a Cadillac leather folder from a CTS. Couldn't believe they didn't give you anything but a plastic bag. I'd be embarrassed if I were the dealer handing over a plastic bag to a customer that just paid $40K plus on a car.
Heck my ford Fusion I paid $28K for came with a real nice document folder. |

My $20k Acura back in 2002 had a nice leather case. No biggie, but still.. |
