No need to worry....that is not the new Camaro.

Even if it's not, I could see that front end being modded to look like a 2nd Gen...

(the one from the first post, that is)...lol

Why do we need a new one, what's wrong with the one we have now?:bonk:

Nobody knows what it'll look like except those lucky enough to be in the heart of the team working on it....and they're smart enough to keep quiet.

Short answer: no. It's not. It's a rendering heavily based on that weird-looking 130R concept car.

For one, a brand new Mustang is right around the corner.

I thought the VEGA was a fun little car, Ahead of it's time :) From the stock engine to the Monsters with the BIG 454's.

Like Fenwick said, the New Mustang is on it's way with IRS and a Lighter Chassis than the current one....

Plus FYI, The Camaro was kinda 5 Model Years late to the party...

Letting one run with little or few changes are what led to the sales disaster of the 4 th gens. If we want to keep Camaros around for a long time they need a new Gen to come along at least every 6 or 7 years. Look at the Mustang this version has been around for 9 years now, but they have had 3 refreshes in that time, some more than others. They will have a complete new car soon, and Chevy needs to keep up this time so they don't fall behind again.

The Vega was way ahead of it's time - The Chevette saved the idea and confused me at first but it filled the niche.

It would make sense, seeing as Ford is aimed to make the Mustang a BMW 4 Series (Coupe Version of the new 3 Series) Competitor.

Everything so far seems to be pointing to a smaller car. That includes the Mustang and Challenger. Hopefully the design team pulls it off and impresses us all. Although I would always expect those type of cars to look big.

...evolution, not revolution will be the change. We received revolution with the rebirth of the Camaro in 2010, retro as it was with the competition. They followed suit, but made it big in overall excellence. You are correct about the past, Chevy lost touch with vision..., became complacent, and sales plummeted. And then the unthinkable happened, the F body died as a results of lack of focus and diligence to the product. Major fail there. GM/Chevy was redeemed with the Gen 5, and now they must repeat that feat with the Gen 6 car. If it is anything like the C7 Vette, then we are golden.

For Europe, of course. They also ONLY get a 4cyl Eco Boost at this point.

If you mean that the Cadillac's unique styling as compared to the cookie-cutter bland ugly european cars has somehow made the cadillac brand a standout, then I can't agree more.
