What my dealer told me about the 6th gens coming out.
He told me he couldn't tell me exactly what it looked like but that it would appeal more to the "younger generation". The dealer was Superior Chevrolet in Shawnee Mission, KS. It is top 10 in corvettes and they had 7 zl1's sold as well as selling a lot of Callaway's and Hendrick Performance camaro's. He also said some of the models will be a v8 that produces 385 horsepower, and then a twin turbo v6 that will produce 600 horsepower and will be in the low $70,000 range. Thought it was pretty cool so thought I'd share. I don't know if any of this is true, it is just what I was told.

He doesn't know anything, that is all speculation.
|
Why would they lower the v8's horsepower but raise the v6's horsepower...?
|
My exact thought. Plus no one knows anything. Everything is just speculation.

They wont be able to sell any Camaros at 70grand either |
Sometimes I wonder if dealers say this crazy shit just to see how fast it makes it on a forum.
|
:bellyroll: I would love to see the thousands of threads about trading down to the V6 for more power.

:bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs: :idiot: If ANY of this is true, I bet it also has 4WD and gets an EPA estimated 50 MPUF...(Miles Per Unicorn Fart) |
Isn't it obvious the OP mixed up the v6 & v8
I read it as the 6 gets 385 and the 8 gets 600, as the other way around is an obvious mistake. |
I heard it was going to look more like the smart car who made love with the prius.
