Camaro Badge (of Honor)
 

This was from the Design Contest that was done and the pictures have been circulating around the interwebs for a couple months or so now.

What do you guys think about the "Badge of Honor" from this contestant's submission?

I personally LOVE this badge and absolutely wish GM would do a unique Camaro badge like they have done in the past. The badge below is modern, has a kind of futuristic look with the DNA mapping in the badge, and looks extremely refined. I absolutely love this badge and if GM doesn't make it I'd be really tempted to talk to Emblempros to see if they can make it.

I do like that badge it is pretty cool looking maybe on the next gen 6th.

I am really liking the Northern blot as the stripes.

Wonder why the 5thgen didnt wear the badge?

Cant say because it was made in Canada because the 4th gen wore it and it was made in Canada as well.

of course the 1st gen never wore it so maybe since its a retro off the 1st gen thats why.

I'll take the (Corvette) flag rather than any of the above.

I like the stingray emblems on the C7 much more. They are more 3-dimensional and modern looking but very retro in being like sculptured ornaments. The DNA thing is nice, but too much like the older ones in style.

I have contacted the designer of the DNA badge and i am currently trying to work out a licensing arrangement. Once I have his permission, I am going to try and see if Emblem Pros will produce it for me.

If the older badges are all red, white, and blue, why is this one red, black, and blue? I think it looks cool, just wondering out loud I guess. I agree the new C7 flag emblem is pretty sweet too.

I believe once he submitted to the contest he gave up his rights to the design as part of the contest agreement. May have to contact GM instead of the designer.

If you look a little closer, seems as if you have red, white, and blue designs on a black background. Overall, I think it's sweet.

I this this badge or similar is something Camaro could bring back as production moves back to Detroit for gen 6. This move back to the US for Camaro production is a great marketing opportunity. While we are here, let's provide Camaro factory tours and the option to take delivery at the Camaro factory. Maybe a little track time in the old GM neighborhood too??

It's cool looking, HOWEVER I think the middle stripe should be reversed in color so its white with black outlines and keeps the red, white, and blue.

I wish they would bring the Camaro flag/badge back.
I love it and it gives Camaros something other cars don't. It would be cool to put that one on my 3rd gen!
