Just my $.02... but why would you buy a brand new car to start taking it cross country every couple months... back and forth. Think about the depreciation value. Think about the gas money you are going to spend. The V6 still only gets 25-30mpg and you mentioned getting the SS, which maybe gets 24..advertised. Realisitically, if you can keep your foot our of it..20. You can get a used Cruise or a Sonic...that will get great gas mileage and wont depreciate as fast. Not trying to be a buzz kill..but its just not practical.

You plan to drive that every couple of months. Then after 1 trip you will be flying as it will probably cost less and be a lot quicker.
Your safe. 6th gen is not coming next year. Closest i see a 6th gen is 2015 model year considering we have not even seen one single sketch of it yet. |

2.0L turbo AWD for the LT. And a 3.5L v6 supercharged AWD for the SS. :chevy: |
Mid decade.
As for the people joking about the 2.0T... Heh. |
My money is on 2016 model year meaning it'll be out late 2015. The typical lifespan these days seems to be 5 years before either a new gen or refresh.

I'm hoping for 2015 or 16. That way they'll have a year or two to work out the kinks before a 50th anniversary edition.

I've read a number of places that they are expecting a release in the fall of 2015, so I would assume it would be the 2016 model.

I just order a 2013, and I looked into it. It looked to me like it could be a MY 2015 at the earliest.
