Motor City Masters might hint design elements of the 6th gen camaro
1 Attachment(s)
There is a new show on Tru TV called Motor City Masters. It's on now
One of the shows they are doing a Camaro and also there are some GM folks being interviewed in the show and if you look in the background there are some good looking coupe sketches... |
Let me see if it's on Demand
|
The season premier is right now so it might no be....but I have it recorded so I will go through it at the end and look at some sketches

SS Cruze....cool!
|
Yea I love the SS Cruze!
|
Seems like the SS Cobalt wasn't well accepted.. I feel
people would feel the same way towards a SS Cruze.. Same car Cavalier/Cobalt/Cruze.. I think GM wanted to stay away from a SS Cruze so they did a LTZ with RS package.. |

Crappy cars with a good suspension and engine only sell to boy racers. Now that the Cruze is in a better place a more powerfull SS may work. But Cobalt SS was killed for one reason......it didn't sell. |

There was a thread a few months back showing the final product of the 2 camaro concepts from the show. They looked awesome, would not be upset of the 6th gen took styling cues from them.
|
The guy who got sent home may have been good at his job but his drawing skills were horrible...don't ya think?

Interesting to see what they come up with! Pulling for Darby or Camilo to win the show, both are extremely talented and could take the 6th gen to new levels.

That would be my dream job! #cardesigner

After seeing the spy shots posted today, I immediately realized I had seen the wheels somewhere before.
On Motor City Masters: http://s9.postimg.org/fouaq3dzj/MCM2.jpg Car in the background on the right of the screen looks like it has the same wheels as the spy pics to me: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...4&d=1405619952 Could that be a glimpse at some version of the new design? |
That rendering in the back looks more Corvette than anything. You can't see crap through the camo anyways.
|
Turns out those are the wheels on the Z51s.
Which is kind of interesting in its own right that the style is being seen on what appears to be the next Camaro, I suppose. |
Those are not Z51 wheels on the spy car, look closer the spokes are different.

The wheels on the spy shot look similar to the current optional ZL1 wheels, only with the center of the spokes hollowed out. |

That road looks like hell. Must be somewhere in Detroit.
