I've decided to come back to this thread for a visit. Some posts were removed, but I'm not going to issue any infractions for having a little harmless fun.

Just heard that 6th Gen will indeed have a Flux Capacitor option.

Al O: No 4 bangers in the 6th Gen Camaro.

i agree. a DOHC TT V6 would be pretty sweet. i mean they already have it in the Caddys....why not the Camaro?

Most people seem to think it will have the LT1. I have no problem with that. I suspect many people won't like the tail lights. It may be 2015 before I can get one so I'm hoping for an outstanding design.

WATCHER 11-29-2013 03:11 PM

Fact: the Cadillac ATS COUPE will be built at the same place.

FiLTHy PHiL SS/RS 02-03-2014 11:07 AM

Fact...
I will take one for free and ride the piss outta it and may even give a review of it.

Because it won't out perform the LT1 in horsepower, torque or fuel mileage.

oneredry 02-11-2014 12:17 PM

Well I have a very good hunch that they will make a I4 option. But for certian a v6 and two varients of 8cyl.

honestly thats pretty much the case with the current V6 Vs the LS3. i mean i get 25MPG on the highway according to my DIC.

Wizard1183 02-24-2014 02:10 PM

Well IF they make an I-4, here's another FACT: I-4 vs V8 threads!:pound:

Seriously though. I see the demise of the Camaro by 2025.

:word: None of that was confirmed to be true, as I've stated in that very thread.

The things my DIC tells me are not to be trusted!

I can guarantee unless it is overlooked in quality it will not have a break pedal.....But it will come with a brake pedal.

The rest of what I know cant be discussed as I like my job within the industry :)

Actually, to go with the coffee cupholders, you'll be able to get a coffee break option...at your local dealer, available with each servicing. Along with rustproofing and Scotchgard.

Dealer may sell for less... Void where prohibited...

Approximately when will the 2016 be announced? Looking to get a 2014 ZL1 but I'd like to wait and see what the 2016 will be all about.

AZCamaroFan 05-24-2014 12:54 PM

they're probably going to show it next january. it's not going to look radically different than the current Camaro from all indications, and it's on the Cadillac Alpha platform. Most likely weight will be a couple hundred pounds lighter. The CTS and ATS handle great, so the next Camaro will too.

TommyTheCat 05-27-2014 01:23 PM

Will we be moving to camaro6.com ?!

KMPrenger 05-27-2014 02:03 PM

Motortrend posted an article confirming the 2015 model is the LAST of the 5th gens.

The way things are going for the new GM these days, I hope the gen6 has a push button ignition switch.

ender2664 06-08-2014 11:32 PM

I really hope it doesn't run into the same issues with weight the mustang is having!
