Do we have a chance to see a "LTZ" Camaro?

How many people would like to see some type of "LTZ" or luxury trim added to the Camaro lineup? With the impending addition of the 4 Cyl engine, who thinks GM will add some sort of luxury package to open camaro up to the type of people who buy Audi's and BMW's for their luxury?

Camaro LTZ with the twin turbo LF3 and 8 speed would be amazing.

Probably never happen. Lol.

Well they wanted it with the 5th gen so I don't see why not for the 6th

Sounds like the idea behind the Berlinetta trim offered in the 2nd and 3rd generation.
I believe the original trim level was known as the Type LT during the 2nd generation.

The LTZ would probably be the 4 cylinder ecoboost tier.

Nobody shopping BMW or Audi will consider Camaro. But they could steal some sales from other makers. I think its a good idea, maybe like the 3LT package in the Vette. 3SS anyone?

The ATS-V will have the LF3, to compete with its natural competition.

A Camaro with LF3 would be a great pre-emptive strike BEFORE (or in answer to) a Mustang EcoBoost V6 and, for that very reason, shouldn't be discounted...

The only luxury feature I'd like in a Camaro is magnaride. But this is coming from a guy who never had cruise control, power doors/windows and bluetooth before 2012.

Yes they will - I'm one of them. Left a Lexus SC430 for a Camaro. Sacrificed some creature comforts for the look, but I would love to have them back.

Bring on all the luxury items we can - preferably cooled seats :)

Just don't call it a Camaro. Why take the rawness out of the heritage. Might as well cut its nutz off too.

BRMike 07-19-2014 09:07 AM

Again, this is not a new idea. The Berlinetta trim was offered on the Camaro from 1979 to 1986. The Berlinetta was essentially the luxury Camaro.

What, from the outset, you're asking for was/is a combo of TWO Camaros that sat side-by-each @ SEMA '09: Dusk (interior exercise, largely), and Leno (TT-V6)...
