What's one thing about the 2016 you didn't know about?

Interested to learn/find out some new things from you guys!

I've been geeking hard since early 2015, so there isn't really anything about it that I don't already know, but what I did learn in December when I first sat in a 2016 that I didn't know about (because it hasn't been covered anywhere) is that the shifter for the A8 can be used to shift instead of using the paddles, which I think is pretty cool for those who buy the auto but still want to put their right hand to work.

Limited info in the HUD :-( heated steering wheel :-)

If you get the dual mode exhaust (NPP) the rear diffuser is painted a gloss black, without it it just comes in a matte unpainted black. It's not really mention anywhere but it makes a huge difference in the overall appearance. Makes the NPP even more of a no brainer for $900.

Interesting info. Matches the front splitter nicely!

I didn't know I could change the digital gauge cluster to three different layouts until tonight. I have 1500 miles on it.

That the SS can pull over 170mph stock!

I also wasn't expecting all the attention I got at the office for my new ride, added bonus =)

The 0-60 readout on the DIC.

Didn't know you can adjust the location of the HUD to suit your driving position. Never occurred to me it might be necessary until I sat in one.

The dial to adjust the interior lighting at really low levels will turn off the all light including the center console and multicolor trim except the HUD and gauge cluster.

The Navigation will pop up on the HUD with a bar to turn and includes the speed limit.

The Sirius XM radio is defaulted to a 3 month trial instead of a year that is listed. (Was on the phone for 3 hours to explain it but got additional 3 months free)

That it can be awesome to drive

The shifter can be used to shift? Where did you see this?

This was my main motivation for choosing NPP also. I actually prefer the Single 4" tips but I like the painted diffuser as it matches the front bumper black pieces. :thumb:

My dealer had mentioned it when i went to go check out the car for the first time. He said that you could put it in manual mode, then tap it forward to upshift, and back to downshift, or something like that.
