February 2018 Camaro Sales Figures (and vs. Mustang and Challenger)
Feb 2018 Delivery (sales) stats:
Camaro Feb 2018 sales 3680 -21% (Pr Ye)

Compared to competition:
Mustang Feb 2018 sales 5800 -30% (Pr Ye)
Challenger Feb 2018 sales 6093 0% (Pr Ye)

Challenger sold almost as many cars in February as Camaro sold in January and February combined.

Mustang 5800

Challenger 6093

From out friends at the other site

That's bad that Challenger outsold both Mustang and Camaro

Especially since the Mustang just had a major refresh.

I hate to be a price guy but I suspect Challenger had better deals in Feb (Camaro deals sucked). Also I give it to Dodge, their commercials are all over the place for these cars and well done. Ford and Chevy don't market the Camaro/Mustang well at all.

Excellent news! More Mustangs and Challengers to mess with on the road :smoking:. Please keep the sales coming Ford and Dodge it has been really boring in my neck of the woods! Its really nice to own a Camaro that is not seen at ever corner of your eye. I am not a car dealer or make money from sales so most of us can give two Fuks how many cars are sold. The less the better for us Camaro drivers as i wouldn't want to see my twin brother at every other stop light i come to.

Even though the numbers say there are more S550 sold than 6th gen, in my area I see way more 6th gens than S550s

Challengers are also everywhere lol

Its just possible your noticing more 6th gens over S550 because its just more better looking car overall and catches you eyes faster LOL

Brutal month. The downward trend continues....refresh is needed.

I imagine the bulk of the sales are i4/v6 models. It's rare to see a GT / SRT / SS on the road here in AZ.

IMO, the Challenger is more practical for a greater percentage of buyers. It's affordable, seats 4 comfortably, performs well enough in base trim, and has more storage room. The Camaro and Mustangs are more purpose-built and isn't as suitable as a family car. Of course pricing and incentives matter as well.

I'd love to see the breakdown of the Dodge models regarding sales.

I see a lot of 6th gen Camaros down here. More so than Challengers.

Ouch the Mustang was down by 2,500 units, although the car markets looks to be hitting the bottom which is good news.

The refresh may be the problem (although I obviously like it).
I may be oversimplifying, but to me the Challenger has barely changed in 10 years. Continues to sell well despite its gargantuan proportions compared to the 70's era car I actually once owned. I hear it's getting a platform separate from the Charger soon. What sounds to me like a sensible direction will probably kill sales.
