Has anyone else built up a lot of miles on their car?

I've had my SS for 8 months now, and I already have 35,000 miles. Bought my car brand new with only 5 miles. Is this bad?

Camarofan93 05-11-2017 04:13 PM

Nah it's not bad if you take good care of it obviously. I've got 4100 on mine and resisting to drive it is unbearable at times. Just take great care of it and it'll last 200K+ miles

Why would you think it's bad? It's a car.

Mine is 6 months old and I have all of 2900 miles. Then again in the garage all Winter.
I'd bet we are good to 150K or more , with reasonable use and care.

Not driving your cars to protect the resale value is like not something something girlfriend for the next guy. Drive it! I mean, I don't have 35k in 8 months, but I've driven more in 8 months more than I drove in 2 years on the '14 I had. That one I was saving for some other guy lol.

Wow. and I thought I had a lot of miles racked up. I bought mine in Nov and creeping up on 11k. Been trying to calm down but damn, this car too fun.

I thought I had too many miles on mine too. My car was delivered May of 2016
with 7 miles on it and today I have 18,000 miles. I have a Duramax that I try and drive to work more than my Camaro, but man it's hard not to drive it.

It just depends...I put 300-400+ per day on my company truck (426 today) 276k total miles.

My Camaro is obviously not a daily driver & my ins. is dependent on only 6k miles per year...I've had it since March 10th with 8 miles & now have 1900 miles & only reason for so many / so quickly was to get to the 1500 break in. I only put 4k on my last personal Hemi Durango last year before trading for the ZL1.

Don't sweat it...if it's your primary transportation, who cares??

Bought July 2016(with 6 miles on it) now Im at 9600 miles. I drive it every other week and on weekends.

I've put 18,000 on mine and won't ease up until it makes me.
