Sunglass/ phone storage ideas for the Camaro
Has anyone come up with a cool way to store sunglasses or your phone while you are in the car? My wife and I drive together frequently and there really aren't any cubbies that are useful for glasses or phones. I was thinking of mounting a net in the passenger side carpet on the transmission tunnel similar to the the one that GM offers for the Camaro for the trunk. I had something like that in my Boxster that I sold to buy the Camaro.
Any good ideas would be appreciated. |
I just use a sunglass clip attached to the sun visor.

I put one arm/leg of the sunglass into the passenger side visor.

I have an 6 x 1.5” wide tray that slides down between the seat and console, no glue or mod to the car, works great. Keys, glasses, etc all fit.
Mine is on the pass side: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

I'm vary happy with my ProClip installation and it plugs directly into the USB to charge and plays thru the app.
I just put my sunglasses on the tray behind the center console |

I just slip mine on the side of the sun visor, and the phone... don’t need it while driving because I’m normally having too much fun to want to tinker with it.
Usually stays in my pocket, backpack in the trunk or the center console |

Just found this online. Given the charging pad doesn't work with most phones, and it needs to direct connected to work with Carplay or Androids software, this may be used to replace the whole thing and provide some storage. It says for Camaro's without charging, but if I decide to lose it anyway this may be an option to increase storage.
