Majority of T4 will be about the civil war on Cybertron anyway. The whole earth story will be about half. Lotsa Unicron and crazy big stuff. I get free toys and really good inside lines. :)

I happened to like the Sunrise Gold on the Camaro, when it was shown in the first Transformers, and I knew I wanted that specific color if I would order one.

It just happened the way the Camaro was shown in Transformers 2 is EXACTLY how I wanted my car to be. Hence why I bought the SLP ZL585 and added the ACS front fascia.

I'm pretty sure that you've got your Camaro for your reasons to, but you don't hear me breaking down your choice of car, do you?

No, and I'm not breaking it down really. I'm just saying that I personally am not a fan of the Transformers crowd. I will give you props for having yours done proper (the proper paint being the biggest thing), but the whole "Autobots/Bumblebee" thing will always be extremely cornball in my eyes.

Just my opinion.

+1

When they started putting a fictional language on the Camaro, that's a bit much...

You probably wouldn't be doing this::drive: if GM's product placement hadn't worked out

Overflow 03-07-2013 07:15 AM

Agreed. The Camaro wouldn't be where it is today without Transformers.

cjt037 03-07-2013 08:18 AM

I really hope not I am tired of my car being called bumblebee when it is black...

PYROLYSIS 03-07-2013 09:20 AM

I'm not a huge transformers fan but I don't understand why people dislike the association with the Camaro so much. The only people that should really be upset are the ones who Rally Yellow is their favorite color. The only fifth gen I ever sat in was a TF3 edition that was sitting in Turner Field in Atlanta. The car just looked so well put together it grabbed me enough to make me sit in it, something I vowed I wouldn't do until I got mine.

True that. Of all the stupid stuff for people to get up in arms over. Who cares what kind of car Bumblebee was? I liked the movies, I like the car. There has been way too much animosity in this thread, and over really stupid stuff.

THUMPER20X 03-07-2013 06:30 PM

I once read an article that Blamed, Burt Reynolds and Knight rider that cause the demise of the Trans Am by making it into too much of a gimmick. Was a funny article. Will the Camaro get the same demise with Transformers? I dont think so.

yeah, I got my first Camaro because of the Transformers Movie. As soon as i seen that concept camaro roll up, i was like, "yeah, I'm getting one of those!"

blackswan 03-19-2013 07:59 AM

Perhaps they will use the new vette instead of Camaro.

:word: and i'm stoked for the next one. and bumblebee will be a camaro, nothing else. he started out as a 77 camaro and no doubt will be a 5th or 6th gen

Point of clarification. GM already decided to build the Camaro before the movie came out.

August 10, 2006 GM announced it would produce the Camaro.
July 3, 2007 Transformers was released.

Yes it was still in concept form, but GM knew they would build it long before the public saw it in transformers, so again, no they did not build it because of the movie hype. They built it because it was voted best it show at the Detroit Auto Show when it was first displayed on January 6th. That and public outcry for them to build it just like the concept.

SummoneR 04-08-2013 12:31 AM

Also not sure ho this will focus on the Civil war on Cybertron if it takes place 4 years after TF3. It may have cut scenes etc. similar to the fallen but the main intent of the film is to take place 4 years later.

I think the possibility of seeing the 6th Gen in the movie is pretty good.

Iroczlover 04-08-2013 12:45 AM

sighs, I am sitting here watching Revenge of the fallen, & I was just checking for the dates of the release of the next movie & its June 29th 2014 NOT the end of 2015.

& If My gut feeling is right, we should start seeing at least the concept of the Gen 6th camaro about the time the movie comes out if not just after.

ALso the OP said that the bumblebee in the movie was a MUSTANG, lol He needs the black Surburbans after his butt. it was the GTO & that was told by us by our lovely Fbodfather.

SSGUNNER 04-08-2013 12:54 AM
