Boost gauge shows up after supercharger install...
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished the install on my vortech supercharger set up. I disconnected the maf like I read on here for the initial start up. And this popped up on my dash.
How did I get that boost gauge and how can I get it to stay? It went away as soon as I got the car running. I imagine the 3 Bar map is what triggers it correct? Has anyone been able to access it permanently? |
Wow! That's really cool. I hope somebody is able to figure out how to get it to stay.
I'm sure all of the folks with aftermarket superchargers and turbos would love to have that gauge. |
Never heard of that :noidea:

......Prior to my P3 gauge, I have been asking this very question as to "HOW"???? if I can get mine to appear, I'd gladly sell my P3 at a good deal!
|
I was in process of installing a boost gauge and the aeroforce mount lol. And remember this being talked about with no luck. But didn’t think I was the only one to see this!

Definitely for a turbo. Probably a dash setting for the 2.0.

I'd love to see a blower that hits 30 pounds. ;)
But no, it's 15-0-15. |
so what triggered it? the car is untuned. nothing done but the install of the vortech. The 3 bar Map IS installed. I literally only started it to check for leaks or issues and what not prior to towing to my tuner. That gauge showed up only PRIOR to the car starting, then it switched back to the battery as soon as the car fired.
