I4 Muffler Delete
 

Hey guys, new to the forum. I've joined because I'm having a hard time locating mods and reviews etc. but I've been heavily researching a muffler delete. I have a 2017 1LT manual. everything is stock this will be my first mod. I have an appointment at 4pm today to have them delete the mufflers. any thoughts? are there any down sides? loss in power or error lights? I'm not worried about the legal side. I'm in NC.

The only down side is it will have more Drone in the car. I drove mine for a few months without a Muffler, then I got the Borla ATAK axel back installed.

Spray-on sound deadener will help the drone if you're like me (too cheap to buy a "real" axle-back lol) with minimal weight gain.

Can I just say it sounds pretty darn good for a 4 cylinder. I'm sure once I add the injen CAI I'll most likely cough up the money for an axle back system but for now being stock this sounds perfect. Check it out!

I like the way my muffler delete sounded until I did a catless downpipe. Then it got too loud and had to had a magnaflow axle back. now sounds waaaay better

I have to purchase mufflers now after swapping out the C D.
What I noticed most about removing the suitcase was how much better it cornered without all that weight outbound of the rear axle.
