Being the owner of over 18 Camaro's in my time (4 of which were Gen1) the 2nd GEN Camaro is actually my favorite until Gen5. So while I respect your opinion I would disagree. The Gen1 Camaro is far more iconic and that is why I believe they made the Gen5 retro to that car. I do not believe they will make a retro model that harkens to the Gen2 Camaro but I do not believe it is because the Gen2 was not popular or a fantastic car. I just think it is time to move on....

...I tend to agree with you, having owned many Camaro's back in the day as well. The 2nd Gen IMHO, within it's first 3 years of introduction <70-73>, is as iconic as the 67-69's.

Trend mags were still calling it a 2009 and saying it had an LS2....so I wouldn't take any of their speculation as "fact"....certainly not that picture.

Well....it's not.

Here's a revised side view. Quite a bit was changed. I completely resculpted the fender lines. The top windshield was moved backwards, roof line altered, side windows streamlined. This view has the 5-spoke wheels. The upper render is with the wheel well extensions and 19" wheels. The lower render is without the wheel well extensions and 20" wheels.

Doc, since its an SS, how about adding a hood scoop that is much more prevalent on the side view. Not voerly done but that can be seen.
