6th Gen. Homage to 2nd Gen.
4 Attachment(s)
Since the 5th generation paid homage to the 1st generation, the 6th generation may be paying homage to the looks of the 2nd gen. Still has the look similar to the 5th generation, but incorporates some retro cues from the 2nd generation.

Those are no where near what the 6th Gen Camaro will be. Those are complete speculation and have been floating around for a while now. :barf:
Don't think I would buy one of those
These pictures return every three months. I don't think 6th gen has even been figured out by Chevy! |

6th Gens will look nothing like that. For one, the design just looks old, not retro. Second, in today's CAFE crazy world, such aerodynamics would never fly.
no.
Looks like poo.
It must be, the interwebs don't lie

I sure hope not. I am more impressed with the Camaro5 being distinct from the original, not as retro as the above would be for the next gen.
And somebody on a thread somewhere stated how happy he was that today's Camaro is so much better in performance and safety and reliability. Ditto. |
Made up or not, those look like a bag full of butts. Those are awful.
No.
I wouldn't pay 1000 bucks for that . That might be oneof the ugliest things I ever seen
Oversize Chevette retro.
Wouldnt buy. Not a fan of second or third gen. Not a huge fan of 4th either. 5th and 1st are my faves.

Not a 6th gen but I still like it.
There's not a chance in hell the 6th gen will look anything like that.
Am I one of the few that doesn't think it looks bad? I think the design works better in a smaller package than the 5th gens. That said, I'm not a fan of the front, but the rear looks very nice. Would prefer square taillamps though.
The only reason I would be OK if Gen 6 looked like the 2nd Gen (hopefully a better version than the pictures we've seen so far), is because of the fact that THE reason I bought the 5th Gen is due to it's retro styling to be reminiscent of the 1st Gen.
So for that reason alone, I feel that people who loved the 2nd Gen are entitled to have something brand new that looks like it. The Second Generation is also...so far...the longest lasting generation beginning with model year 1970 and ending with model year 1981, it lasted 12 years. |
i do not like the look of that at all.

I like it I think it looks pretty cool. Now if you ask would I buy one. Doubtfull.
I do like the looks of the Gen 2 camaro but I hope to hell thats not what the Gen 6 maro looks like!!!
Well, maybe I do, that will make the Gen 5 more desireable and valuable down the road. |
They should work on a Gen 5 Z/28 first.
:D |
we will know when they wants us to know

The FBodFather has spoken. And yes, this has been reposted at least a half dozen times.. |
I hope they don't do this
I like the rear, not the front. It's all for naught anyway though because this is mere speculation.

Thank GOD! I would hate to see that thing in production. FYI for anyone who doesn't realize, if Fbodfather says it ain't gonna happen, it ain't gonna happen :headbang: |

Funnies shyt I have read today... |
Don't want. Give me a 5th over that any day.
Don't hate me for being beautiful, but go ahead and hate me for thinking the not-fer-real 6th gen. concept/ rendering looks really damn cool. I would snap one of these up in a heartbeat, and would sleep really well with that pair of cars sitting in my driveway. And, dang... if I could have all six generations in my driveway...
gotta admit tho...that is one sexy rear end
6th Gen
If this car is built, I am in. :coolpics: I hope it is lighter this time. Around the 4th Gens weight (or less) would work ! Bring back the Z/28 as a "base" LS3 V8 unit like it was for the 1st & 2nd Gen.
The Cadillac ATS weight is a good indication it will be lighter. ;)
