Adding Resonator??
Currently have the flowmaster outlaw axlebacks(non npp) and it's creating drone from around 1500-2000 rpms. I usually don't mind it and isn't apparent when driving on the highway while it's in 4 cylinder mode, but there's a point when it starts vibrating the car.
I was thinking about adding a resonator to help eliminate the drone. Will this completely eliminate the Outlaws back to a stock sounding car? I don't mind sacrificing some exhaust note for getting rid of drone. |

Thanks you, I've actually decided to switch to the American thunder exhaust, according to most people there's close to no drone, thanks for the support though!

I just added the American thunder to my 17 ss a d getting a lot of drone. Any advice would be appreciated!

I tried a resonator before switching to DBX’s, it did nothing. Nothing against Flowmaster but the outlaw series’s is nothing more then an enlarged straight through pipe. You would almost get the same with just deleting your mufflers and going straight pipes. |

Looks great. I wonder if I can replace my NPP exhaust for your same flowmasters (DBX)? How is the exhaust sound compared to the NPP exhaust? No drone, crackle or pop? |
The Magnaflow X-Muffler could be an option also.
