Houston Area Camaros & Events
It's time for a Houston thread to discuss anything and everything Gen5/6 related for our area.
Almost every week the Gen 5's meet up at different street meets around Houston. Places like the Woodlands Car Club gathering at Market Street, Cars n Coffee, Kemah Boardwalk have become a great hang outs for the Camaro crew.... and the numbers are growing each month...:w00t: I know there are others such as in Pearland, Kingwood, Tomball so post up the info for everyone... |

We're cruising from Ron Craft Chevrolet to the track at Baytown on Saturday... Flyer attached... |
Nice photos Mike, but that group just doesn't look the same with out that yellow one there.
Got it buffed out today and the first coat of Zaino is on, I will do the rest on Monday after we get our mother moved. You should see that yellow one now, OMFG! I'll get some pics posted tomorrow. It better not rain next weekend for Super Chevy after I have done all of this or I will be pissed. Not really, it was a lot of work buffing and shinning up 2 cars in 2 days but the end results are well worth it. |
1st Sunday Cars and Coffee at Market Street

|

I am gonna have to start coming to houston meets. I live in the Beaumont area and most of the 5th Gen. owners here are pricks and nobody wants to hang out and cruise together. My Aunt lives in the woodlands so I have a place to stay. What weekends does everybody meet up on? Is it like every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect...?
|
I drove by one night, and there were some cars there around 8-9 pm

was out there on sunday. i prefer the woodlands meet over the post oak event. had my 93 lsx Z28 out there.
|
I would have joined all of you if the car was put back together on time. I was on the back end (literally) of finishing painting my diffuser. I started this job and half way through I find a GFX package for a good price on Craig's list. So I'm kinda finishing plan A and going on to plan B!!!:mad0260: It looked like a great turnout and better weather.
|
Wow lots of pics of our car :) I'm feeling the love!
Woodlands Car club definitely is a lot of fun. Each has their benefit (Woodlands vs Uptown Park). Luckily they're on different days so we can enjoy each! Woodlands definitely feels more "personal" if that makes sense. |
