I would like to see weight reduced. I would also like to see better materials on the interior. For 2SS models, I would like to see a couple "creature features", namely ventilated and heated front seats and automatic climate control.

The 5.0 Coyote in the Mustang gets tubular shorty headers and I wonder why GM doesn't do the same for the SS. The Z/28 got them, so clearly GM understands that they have a performance value.

Blahson says it all "ditto"

Negative on T-tops unless GM wants to spend a fortune getting that roof to pass safety tests.

I agree with this.
Of course the SS model should get the LT1 with 7 speed manual or 8 speed auto. Auto should get the same engine as the manual, not a truck engine like the 2010-2015 cars. Buyers should also be able to pick from a variety of gear ratios even if they force a GG tax. Same type of thing should have been done on the 5th gen. Buyers should have had the option to get the LS3 with a auto transmission and pay a GG tax as well as 3.70 to 3.91 gear ratios for both transmission types. AFM can be turned off by the driver with the new LT1 so no need to have a non AFM car though.

like others have said...less weight! Love to see it closer to Gen3 weight, but not likely to happen.

Specifically for the 50th, I want to see something nasty as shit or NAS if you will. Not just some fruity vinyl decals like that but a 50th NAS Camaro big block or something ridiculous.

It's hard to improve on perfection, but here you go:

- better brakes on base models
- same rear dust shields across the line
- parking brake that engages lower in the handle pull
- owner accessible ABS reservoir purge
- better intakes / air pathways across the line
- better exhaust on base models
- separate brake/clutch fluid reservoirs on manuals
- integrated dirty side catch can
- lighter weight ( 200 - 300 lbs )
- better paint / clear coat
- NO CHROME (maybe on badges)
- memory seats (Driver seat at least)
- tip down passenger side rear view mirror when in reverse
- stereo/nav system close to top of dash
- better iPod/iPhone integration
- leather(ette) on center console and doors (option)
- 19" wheel options on higher end models
- spare tire option on SS/RS models
- better designed/tested convertible top
- lighter wheels/rotor option
- Michelin Pilot Super sport stock wheel sizes
- suspension upgrade on base models (option)

GM doesn't do this to base models because that is what makes them affordable. You have to pay to play and that is why the Z28 ZL1 etc make them more money. Not for the fact that they sell a lot of these cars but that they get press time which promotes the camaro in general. The base models sell because they are cheaper versions of the beast.

Just PLEASE do not put any 4 cylinder engines in the car! I don't know if it is confirmed yet or not, but I heard rumors about turbo 4's in the new Mustangs.

Agreed. Will ruin the rep of being a muscle car imo.

As long as they'll offer a version with a high horsepower V8, things should be all right.

Yeah, I don't care if it has a 4 banger option, as long as I get a V8 option

I guess I somewhat agree but man it hurts to see these cars as rentals...

Also the LT1 engine is 100% confirmed?

I am going to be waiting for the 2017 50th ZL1.
