Rear Control Arm Covers?

2 Attachment(s)
These were in my trunk when I took delivery. Is there any reason why they wouldn't have installed them during PDI? Should I put them on?

UPDATE: Never mind! I just stuck my head under the back of the car and installed them myself... super easy. But yes, it looks like these were supposed to be put on during PDI. My guess is that the tech probably confused these for the brake ducts that are for track use only on the regular SS...

Heads up for you people who haven't taken delivery yet!

Yup, if I recall the spoiler end caps and those should come in the trunk to be installed during PDI.

GM needs to just start installing this stuff at the factory.

They are not installed in the factory because in some cases they interfere with the transportation connections on a truck.

Man I love this forum. So much intel to make our lives easier. Kudos to Camaro 6.

I have a 2017 and I don't see my brake ducts your talking about. Where are they stored at. I know in the trunk but where? at the next to the battery on the right? if so I don't see them... If anyone have pictures please post. And for the control arm covers I think mine were installed but Ill have to check when I get home from work.
Thanks in advance

What's the purpose of these covers?

Protects the LCA's from damage due to rocks, etc. Reduces the likelihood of scratches and dings and rust.

Should just be sitting in the trunk in a bag along with floor mats and the LCA covers.

If your dealer preps the car properly - the only bag of parts in the trunk will be the stuff for the "track use only" brake ducts. Everything else should be installed.

Not for an SS 1LE...they have the ducting (similar) installed from the factory if I recall.

These were loose in the trunk of my '19 and the people at the dealer were clueless. I installed them myself.
