WOW!

On stock exhaust manifolds, no less.

That is awesome.

I am a little confused about their hpfp. The video says they are using a 7.85mm fuel pump cam. Their pump says not to go over 6.5mm stroke. Did they make a new version of the pump with more stroke?

I tested their pump and it definitely can not handle the +32% fuel pump lobe on a comp cam.

Yes new version the previous version was good to 1000 HP noted in the video.

Ted.

This is GREAT NEWS! Keeping my eyes on this one.

What would be the price on that fuel system setup?

Retail is $6K.

Hm I think for 6k I'd rather have an auxiliary port injection system. Might be more difficult to tune, but the ports would be cleaner. And under DD conditions, you still get all the benefits of DI.

Also would be running a standalone ecu which will have many more features, especially useful for a turbo car.

Different ways to skin a cat no doubt! Cool to see the DI only rout raising the HP ceiling though.

Plus a pretty good amount in labor. Guessing in the thousands with the cam job and such. Jannetty will take care of you though!

To be fair though it's no more or less than any other cam job. Which you'd need if you wanted to push 1400 crank regardless what fuel system you chose... Bar maybe stuffing an lt4 with oodles of nitrous or something silly. Labor is always going to come into play when you want big power I feel like.

But I do have to side with this setup not being worth the cost

There's no way this would not require an auxiliary low side system as well. Add that to the cost. No mention if the GT35 cam comes with springs DOD delete stuff etc either so add all that to the cost as well. Looking at $8k+ in parts alone probably.

I've seen this kit in person. Can't say where, but its awesome and comes in its own case. Its not cheap either but if you want to make some serious hp this is the ticket.

Exactly what I was thinking!

No matter what you are going to have to upgrade the pistons if you want to go here. I still think if you are using a centi supeercharger or turbos the way to go is port. If you have a PD supercharger the port option really isn't there and it is nice to know that this option is available.
