Is there an undisguised 6th Gen body in this video?

Found this video on Autoblog.com. It was a (rather pointless, IMO) video about GM's use of 3D laser scanning to map their factories. It's just two people yammering about it in an empty banquet room.

However, they are standing in front of a red unfinished coupe. The male does a good job of blocking the view of the car, but it seems Camaro- esque to me, particularly when compared to the new spy shots.

What do you guys think?

Here is a still from the video of the mystery coupe.

I've also snipped a couple of detail shots from the new 6th gen camouflaged mule pictures and the red mystery coupe.

Notice that there appears to be a flap on the camouflage to allow access to the fuel filler. The red mystery coupe has a cutout for the fuel filler on the same side. You can also see where the plastic is clinging to the actual bodywork. The rear fender and actual C-pillar line seem to match the red coupe as well.

Thoughts?

Interesting catch. Thanks for posting it.

Hard to say, but the c-pillar shape doesn't scream Camaro to me.

Looks a bit like the Opel Calibra sketch that was floating around earlier in the year.

Somebody in the comments section thinks it's a Lexus RC. Being that they're in a banquet room and not a GM facility that car could literally be anything. Doesn't look like a Camaro to me. The roof line is very soft and not anything like what little we can tell from the spyshots.

And the fuel fill does not line up with the Camo patch on the Camaros. It is centered over the wheel well in the red body. Slightly forward in the Camo cars.

Oh and I'm pretty sure GM wouldn't have just left out a Camaro body with John McIlroy doing a video segment. That would be a colossal F Up, maybe of all time.

This post said it all. The fuel door on the '16 Camaro and the prototype red body shown are no where near close. The '16 Camaro has it much closer to the door.

The alpha chassis has the fuel door on the right side on the CTS and also ATS.
