Looks like a porsche cayman lol

This was already posted up on here somewhere, but heck if I can remember the exact thread.

If it wasn't for the fast back design, I think it looks decent from the side...pretty good actually. The butt is too sloped.

Where-ever that other thread is, it also had front end shots...which were not good at all.

Love the design but what does the front look like?

one more nay vote for the rear end ... i'm thinking that GM would model the 6th Gen more along the lines of the 2nd Gen Camaro, that would be much more consistent, something like this maybe?

didn't know that sorry. baby and 2 jobs take most of my time I use lsxtv on time between jobs. overall i like the side view. the rearend looks like the grim reaper got a hold of the designers mid project.

FWIW, those aren't straight on side profile shots, so the angle of the rear end is going to look a little off.

Well said, the rear looks too "humpy" it should still have that sleek fastback gt car look, not some weird bubbly looking hatch thing. Although I do kind of like the "tuner one" with the giant wing it makes the hump not look as bad.

Back end makes it look like a cross between the current Camaro and a bizarre retro C3 Corvette.

File it with the many other speculative renderings floating around the internets.

2010SLVRBULIT 03-08-2013 12:03 AM

I like the convertible and the colors, but that's it.

OfficiallyTook 03-08-2013 12:12 AM

I can see my wife in it...but then again...

The little teardrop ducty things on the front fenders and extending into the doors bodywork is just wretched looking.

LS3 Handler 03-08-2013 12:54 AM

I like it.....but they they need to swiftly drive the back of the car into a wall to make the rear look better.

Linker239 03-08-2013 01:10 AM

Ahh not really feeling it, the side is not bad, the rear is horrible.

ssmike 03-08-2013 09:10 AM

All this speculation has me crazy! :bonk: I'm just glad I'm not part of the GM design team tasked to improve on the gen5. How do you improve on perfection? Anyway, if they pull off with the gen6 Camaro what they did with the C7 Corvette then they will have a winner! When you look at the C7 you immediatley recognize Corvette but know that it's a modernized version! Same should be done with the Camaro!

Make mine in red and you got a deal.

After seeing the hideous new stang(if those pics are real) I hope they don't ruin this car, I would rather see just a modification of the design rather than a whole new one.

First gen Camaro: hot
Second gen: not
Third gen: hot
Fourth gen: not
Fifth gen: hot
Sixth gen: https://github.com/arvida/emoji-chea...e.png?raw=true

Don't get mad at me :( just mah opinion

OldScoolCamaro 03-08-2013 06:31 PM

..to me, the concept looks like a Malibu was mated with a Camaro, and the end result was a....Camaribu???? :pound:

barryzz383 03-09-2013 04:37 AM

shoot the dumb ass who come out with this!

Get rid of the design team, tell the engineers to go into the solidworks files and scale down the current 5th by 10-15% and send that to the factory and be done with it...

mcdoogle6969 03-09-2013 09:35 AM

Ugly as F@%K.

abaucom21 03-09-2013 10:36 AM

Like the Gen 6 concept pics.
Said I would not trade my low mileage 2011, but if GM offered a true pillarless hardtop coupe (similar to these concept pics) I will consider a Gen. 6 Camaro.
Think the concept Gen 6 covertible a better design then the Gen 5 conv. If the Gen 6 convertible is similar to this concept image, will consider buying a convertible.

Gibroni 03-09-2013 11:20 AM

Did you notice how all of the C7 renderings a couple years before it's introduction look nothing like the actual C7?
