Hope For A Better Looking Engine Bay

Design the 2016 car around engine bay. New Boss Mustang has a cool looking engine bay, but less appealing body style.

HOPEFULLY we will HAVE a good engine to put in it.
stupid CAFE.

look at the 2014 ATS . . . no v-8
just 4 banger, and v-6

The ATS doesn't have a v8 because it doesn't need a v8 - at least not right now. The Camaro will have a v8.

There's a new Boss Mustang?

The New Z/28 split plastic engine cover is a big improvement over the standard TONKA cover. I seen it in the new 2014 Camaro brochure.

I would like to see the engine cover go away. We know they can make a good looking engine bay because the third and fourth gens looked so great. The LT-1 was an exceptionally good looking engine.

The Challenger R/T Hemi engine bay is very tidy. Lines are hidden and organized nicely. It can be done.

Those covers are standard on the LS7, and are available to purchase after market for the SS.

I agree the Boss has a much better looking engine. Unfortunately (looks wise) the LT1 will be the next V8 and in the Corvette it is not...

yup...i would expect to open the hood of the 6th gen and see something similar to this...obviously it wont say Corvette lol
