I can guarantee unless it is overlooked in quality it will not have a break pedal.....But it will come with a brake pedal.

The rest of what I know cant be discussed as I like my job within the industry :)

Actually, to go with the coffee cupholders, you'll be able to get a coffee break option...at your local dealer, available with each servicing. Along with rustproofing and Scotchgard.

Dealer may sell for less... Void where prohibited...

Approximately when will the 2016 be announced? Looking to get a 2014 ZL1 but I'd like to wait and see what the 2016 will be all about.

AZCamaroFan 05-24-2014 12:54 PM

they're probably going to show it next january. it's not going to look radically different than the current Camaro from all indications, and it's on the Cadillac Alpha platform. Most likely weight will be a couple hundred pounds lighter. The CTS and ATS handle great, so the next Camaro will too.

Will we be moving to camaro6.com ?!

Motortrend posted an article confirming the 2015 model is the LAST of the 5th gens.

The way things are going for the new GM these days, I hope the gen6 has a push button ignition switch.

I really hope it doesn't run into the same issues with weight the mustang is having!

What weight issues? That was only speculation. I'll wait until the official numbers are released until I decided if the Mustang is too heavy or not.

but will it be available soon after the car is available to us, or will take a year (well it seemed like a year) like it did with the ZL1

It will be available much faster then the ZL1 took, our goal is to have it to market before any other manufacturer.

The ZL1 had some design issues that we were not expecting, which obviously postponed things because we felt the need to make changes until we had what we felt was the best we could produce. Did we lose market share because of it taking longer, maybe we did. Are we going to release a CAI that we are not 100% confident is the best we can do just to say we have it done first, or in order to sell a few more units than the other guy, no. The fact is, most of the big companies do not come here on the forum and share info about new products until they are already developed and have a release date set. We try to be a little more casual with our customers and were sharing our development process with the Camaro5 community, in the future we'll probably keep development details on the hush until things are actually done, since it obviously upset some people when things dragged out longer then we originally anticipated. We were one of the first to market for the 2010-11 V6, 2010-2014 V8, 2012-2014 V6, and Supercharged applications for Magnuson, Whipple, and SLP. The ZL1 took longer then we thought it would to design, and for that we are sorry, overall though I'd say we are pretty darn good about getting things out quickly. We are a growing company and all we can do (like everyone else in this world) is learn from our past and try to do better in the future.
:)

Don't pay attention to the whiners and complainers about things being dragged on. I'm sure the majority of us appreciate you keeping us in the loop with development so that we AT LEAST know whats going on with the products
