Official 6th Gen 1/8 Mile V8 Fast List
 

There are plenty of threads about 1/4 mile track times, but this thread is specific to 1/8 mile track times. The Official 1/8 Mile 2016+ V8 Camaro Fast List list is divided into three classes for now.

Bone-Stock Includes completely stock car with zero performance changes. Cars must have stock exhaust, stock air intake, stock tune, stock tires, etc.
Bolt-Ons *without* Internal Engine Modifications or Power Adders. Includes cars with a modified air intakes, headers, ECU/PCM-tune, aftermarket clutch, non-stock rear gears, skinny front tires, etc.
Internal Engine Modifications and/or Power Adders Same requirements as above but for cars with Heads, Cam shaft, Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger, etc.

The Rules:
Along with your time slip, you must post the details of your 1/8 mile pass... see the example below.

All time slips to be directly uploaded to Camaro 5 web site and not a third party photo storage service.

Be sure to post your time slips. No slip = No update to the Top Thirty list!
Slips must be posted in this forum. Referring to slips in other forums doesn't count.
Potential qualifying times require posting of an image of the entire time slip: track name. date and run information. The only exception to this requirement is for tracks that cut slip in half.(if you need help, PM me.)
Track times will not be corrected for weather or track altitude.
Any one can submit his/her times to this thread.
Only one time slip per member will be included in a given class.
If two people submit times identical to the thousands of a second, the tie-breaker goes the higher mph.
It's a top thirty list, but the entire list can be viewed by opening the link.

Gotcha, was a bit thrown as this is the VS forum. A bit premature, though, don'tchathink? Maybe not.

Eventually It will be stickied in the Drag Racing section once Tran creates it. Fair bit of work to get it all set up, just getting a head start on it.

Great foresight and really interesting future thread. I am excited and looking forward to baselining the 2016 SS stock 60 foot times and then trying it under the same conditions with just tire changes. Combos available are larger Goodyears, DRs and skinnys, and slicks and skinnys. All this other than the bone stock tire combo depends on whether 5th Gen wheels fit the 6th Gen. Wheels should fit, but....we'll see soon.

I think the 1/8 mile stats should be a great baseline for non-boosted 2016 Camaro performance. For boosted cars, I am looking forward to 1/4 mile stats for the turbo version whenever that appears in general press or when somebody bolts an aftermarket turbo or supercharger on a 2016 V6 or V8.

From here on time slips only please. I will be working over the next few weeks to get it up and running, but go a head and post your slips.

To be honest, the tall DR hurt performance alittle, borrowed them from a buddy. Going back tonight with the first Circle D Billet converter, a set of cat deletes and tuned on E85 on a smaller DR. Expecting low 7's.

What is the average ET and MPH for a 2SS A8 stock with NPP? Only mod that I have is a catch can, which doesn't have any performance added I do believe.

Local track had a test and tune tonight, so I decided it was time to take the car out. I'm bone stock on the stock runflats. Had a 15-20 mph headwind to contend with all night and still learning how to launch this 6 spd. The machines that print the timeslips were not working, so the ladies in the tower had to hand-write them. Probably not much to brag about, but hopefully will get the 1/8th mile M6 list started.
