The prices are out FYI...

I meant for this site in particular. Once they get the invoice info then they'll post it. Good looking out though.

I believe Costco uses Supplier pricing which for the Camaro is around 4.5% off of base price and 9% off of options.

So supplier pricing also discounts the options slightly and not just base price of the car. I believe I saw this when I configured a 2016 with my guy at the dealer back home, but if you configure a car on the GM supplier discount site it only shows discount applying to base MSRP which is about $1200 off on the 1SS. So if 9% off for options that could mean about $500 off the 1LE package!

How does this costco thing work? I have no idea how you buy a car through them. Would it work for custom ordering a car?

slick3 08-09-2016 03:25 PM

PDR is listed as an option as well but no price...

I spoke with my dealer and he was basically getting the same list with no prices at all...

He said call back on Monday morning to check. They typically push the big updates to pricing and vehicles Sunday night evidently? This will be a nice tool to find invoice pricing at though.

Is invoice the best I could do on something like this. I have always purchased cars off of a lot and never ordered.

What say the professionals?

Doglife1LE 08-09-2016 04:08 PM

When I purchased my 2013 1LE Costco pricing was around $1000 under invoice plus $500 Costco cash card. That could have changed since then. The good thing about the 1LE being an option instead of separate model is it can't be excluded from Costco pricing. The ZL1 was excluded in 2013 when I was shopping around.

Unless you have a shady dealer that shouldn't be an issue as this is not a separate model, just an option package. So an allocation is an allocation in regards to these cars.

So does Costco pricing only work with a car on the lot or does it work for an Order?

Doglife1LE 08-10-2016 08:50 AM

It will work for an order as well.

Awesome so I just go pick up a costco membership before I order my 1LE then save thousands! Why doesn't everyone do this?

I ordered my 1LE and used the COSTCO deal back in 2012. Best deal ever. Saved thousands on the car and got a $500 gift card from COSTCO. No haggle. No issues. It was a good deal.
