transformers 4 = spy shots of 6th gen?
This is all speculation but really this entire sub forum is...
Michael Bay has said new transformers movie is to be released around the end of 2015... bumblebee gets a new look maybe? It worked for gm before. . |
Haha after the driver crashed that Camaro in Transformers 3 I bet GM is second guessing doing that again.

Wy would GM care if it got crashed. Most concept movie cars are custom built by the studio and not supplied by the manufacturer as they don't exist yet in many cases.
Remember when the Cadillac CTS was featured in The Matrix 2. Not a single piece of that car came from GM as it simply didn't yet exist. GM supplied sketches and such. The entire car was built from those sketches for the movie. The first Bumblebee was actually a GTO made to look like the concept Camaro. |

That videos is from when they were filming revenge of the fallen if I am not mistaken.
Sucks for the Camaro. I think the cop was responding to a call a d cut through the filming area and BAM! Sent via morse code through a fax machine |
Heard all characters were gonna change even the autobots, so for all we know bumblebee won't even be in it therefor no more camaro.
|
GM actually worked closely with the studio and supplied several cars. In the first movie, they provided body panels from which bumblebee was made from using the gto.
It was a huge marketing win for gm. I'm sure well see more of this in the upcoming film. |

Even saw Steve Saleen ripping on it because it had a V6 (as if GM doesn't in fact have V8's.) |
Each of the Transformer movies has grossed more than the previous movie did and T3 grossed over $1B worldwide. They will keep making them as long as they are making money on them, which doesn't look like it is going to stop any time soon.
|
they should make the C7 the hero this time and the 6thgen camaro his buddy:thumbup:
|
anyone else seen that video? it's on youtube from a few years ago. Ripping on GM in front of a bunch old mustang owners:barf:

Haha, I was trying to figure out what you were talking about before. I'm watching it right now. I think he's was joking or just being an ass. From an article on the car: "To simplify, the bodies were chopped off the two 5.7-liter, LS1-powered GTOs while box frames of steel were welded up to compensate for the lost structure" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1_8F-FzPVo |
GM realizes this liability when providing cars for movies. I remember reading somewhere Arnold Schwarzenegger totaled 8 Corvettes while filming a movie.
|
joking? no
being an ass in front of the rustang faithful? yes but he is right. ford does know how to build a car. built the same chassis from 79-04! and they've perfected the live axle too:thumbsup: |
If you paid close attention to Sideswipe in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, you can clearly see that GM was giving us a sneak peak at what the C7 could look like. While not identical by any stretch, the resemblance is clearly not a coincidence. If I recall, Ed Welburn even discussed that in an interview. GM gave us a preview of the ZL1 front end in T3 so I don’t think there is a doubt that we will see some hints of new GM cars and specifically the Camaro in T4...

While transformers 3 was being filmed in Hammond Indiana (cline avenue bridge) an extra (woman) in a vehicle and a cable snapped and came through the window and hit her. She survived but was pretty messed up. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/05/...ming-accident/ Ryan |

I have no problem with a Gm Team up with Transformers 4 it makes Gm vehicles more public and popular which means better sales and in turn means those models should stick around alot longer.

The car that was in that accident was a prodcution car. Not one of the concepts......Been in the concept bee. It still had the GTO speedo face behind the fake dash hard plastic doors and the GTO seats a thing....

Goddammit, Bumblbee was a f%$@ing Volkswagen bug, not a muscle car.
Stop arguing over it, the Transformers fanboyism drives me insane. |
Relax...they paid tribute to the "original" Bumbleebee in the first movie during the scene at used car lot. Also, a lot of us grew up on Transformers so it's actually cool and now that I have kids, they think it is cool too. Besides, it doesn't matter whether you like it or not, the 5th generation will always be associated with Transformers.
|
Bumblebee will be a ZL1 in T4
