Question to NCM road course participants

I was just curious what others would bring to the NCM track. I know there is a thread showing pictures of the cars people are driving to CF event, but doesn't really specify what event they are participating.

Let's see what you will drive on track and what upgrades you've done to it so far or are planning before the event.

I'll go first.....

My car: '16 SS
Engine/Intake/Exhaust: bone stock, except axle back (just to make it lil louder)
Tires: street summer tires - either Hankook RS3 or Bridgestone RE71
Brakes: Hawk HP+ front (still 4 piston), EBC Yellowstuff rear, Motul 600 fluid
Suspension: bone stock MRC
Weight reduction: Nothing. Maybe driver on diet...? :bonk:

Oh, and for the record, DEXOS2 5W40 engine oil.:lol:

15 1SS 1LE
Engine: Rotofab intake, bo white stage 2 throttle body, 1 7/8 longtubes with catless mids through stock NPP, tuned.
Tires: the great unknown, somewhere between stock f1s and slicks.
Brakes: stock for now, may be running 6 piston fronts by fest
Suspension: stock for now, about to do some BMR stuff
Weight reduction: no rear seat, and everything removed from the trunk will hopefully compensate for the harness bar and harnesses.

Sent from my campfire using smoke signals.

Sounds like you are bringing quite a fun toy. :thumb:

Fixed it for ya. :D I got a ride in Becky's ZL1 last year on track - that thing can run! And yes,,, Becky can drive!
I think she'll be coming to CF with Gen6 ZL1. Getting harder and harder to keep up with her.....

Car: 2018 ZL1 1LE (with luck)

Factory Stock...1500+ break in miles...ATE 200 brake fluid, and Dexos 5W-40 ;)

...Or a 2013 Sonic. (if I don't have enough luck) :bellyroll:

I want to see a good spread in this thread. Gen 5s, Gen 6s, from turbo 4s to ZL1s. :headbang:

Harness bar and harnesses to hold my butt in the seat.
Doesn't need any other mods.

Woooooo ZL1LE.... Would love to see that beast being let loose on its natural habitat. Or Sonic is cool too.... :D
I'm also looking forward to seeing all kinds of Camaros on track, but really interested to see some Gen6 turbo 4s and V6 1LEs in action.

Don't forget to put in the DOT4 Brake Fluid :) Make sure your PADS are in Good shape... As well as your tires. WE had rain last time we were there.....

Most of your mod power adders? How much hp?
Any suspension mods? What kind of tires will you be running?

Not doing the Road Course this year but hopefully next year! I'm not sure any of the I4 guys are doing this, haven't really been up to date lately though. Can't wait to watch!
