looks to be a significant improvement over the current model

meh

definitely a change in looks.

I want to be the "a typical" C5 reply and go "well it doesn't come in orange so why the hell even get it, I pass, and well, Fail to Ford for making a better vehicle but not giving us a color we need".

I thought "Ford" translated in another language meant "fail"? ... :)

I personally think the truck they unveiled is a bit too busy. But I hope it MAKES GM get off their azzes and make a truck that's worthy of having some cool features available like the power tailgate and 360 degree camera system.

But I doubt it.

I'm not impressed with either ford or chevy's recent truck designs. Very blase.

Looks wise I'm not a fan yet. I will have to see it in person because some pics I hate and think it looks disgusting, and in others like the Red FX4 I don't think it looks to bad. The current Fords trucks I hated at first until I saw them in person then I really liked them. Regardless I still like it better than the full size Trucks GM is offering. Honestly if I had to buy a truck right now between the 15 F150, the new GMs, and the Ram I would get the Ram without a second guess.

I will confidently say that GM won't win truck of the year 2years in a row lol

Looks...I just don't know yet. Like some other comments here...I'm back and forth on the exterior. Looks good to me in some configurations, and others its "Blah". A picture of a white FX4 looks pretty sweet though.

But compared to this is it any better? Not sure about that. Seeing one of these Limited's on the road was pretty damned amazing my opinion:

But as for features and equipment its another step up for Ford. They are certainly pushing their hardest in this segment...can't deny that.

In certain configurations I think the 15 F-150 looks great. I love the interior. Certain configurations IMO look terrible tho. Can't wait to see one in person.

I will say that IMO The Sierra is the best looking truck on the market right now. If I had to rank the trucks based on exterior looks

1. Sierra
2. 15 F-150
3. RAM
4. Silverado

Sierra, Ram, F150, Toyota, Chevy.....chevy is hideous.

looks like they didn't do the much needed top engine level revisions.

What's wrong with the engines?

They completely got rid of the 6.2.

All aluminum body.

700 pounds lighter.

This truck is a game changer.

It doesn't "need" the 6.2L gas hog anymore.

The F150 was 600+ lbs heavier than the Silverado, so they're about equal now.
